Our Workshops
Children’s Workshops
Creative Workshops for children ages 3–11 focus on hands-on art making in a fun and welcoming studio environment. Classes introduce children to a wide variety of creative projects, materials, and themes through painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media art, seasonal projects, sensory activities, and other approachable art experiences.
Specialty Workshops give children the opportunity to explore unique artistic techniques, materials, and creative processes that go beyond a typical art class. These workshops may include textured painting, flower-based fabric dyeing, LEGO dot printing, stamp making, printmaking, textile projects, mixed media art, and other immersive specialty experiences using tools and materials not commonly found in traditional children’s classes.
Adult Workshops
Adult Workshops offer creative, hands-on experiences designed for all skill levels — whether you’re artistic or simply looking to try something new. From wine glass painting and hand-painted candles to specialty mixed media projects and seasonal workshops, classes are designed to be a fun night out and a reason to gather with friends, family, coworkers, or your community with the opportunity to create something you will love.
Classes for Homeschoolers
Artful Academics
Artful Academics classes are homeschool enrichment classes for children ages 5–11 who love to create, craft, draw, and learn about art and interesting topics they may not otherwise explore. Each class focuses on a different subject — from nature and geography to architecture, oceans, insects, literature, artists, and more — while incorporating elements of ELA, math, science, and social studies through hands-on artwork and creative projects.
These classes give children the opportunity to learn in a different way by organizing their thoughts, ideas, and learning through art. Artful Academics also creates space for creativity, discussion, collaboration, and socialization with other homeschoolers in a welcoming studio environment.
The Studio Space
The Pop-Up Workshop Studio is proudly hosted within The Gather Inn Again — a shared creative space rooted in community, creativity, and bringing people together. The space has been deeply curated to transition seamlessly between studio and restaurant. The space has been created to be an immersive and inspiring environment during workshops and a warm, inviting place to gather over food and drinks during restaurant hours, adult and private events.
During children’s classes and studio programming, the studio space remains fully separate from the restaurant and bar area. A coffee bar is also available during select workshops and during drop-off and pick-up times for parents and caregivers.
More than anything, the studio was created to feel like somewhere people genuinely want to return to — a community space where children feel safe and inspired, families gather and celebrate, friendships are formed, and people of all ages can continue learning through artistic exploration.
